Our conversation with Chris Wheeler, the writer, producer, and director of “Civil War: The Untold Story,” a new five part mini series premiering on PBS nationwide in April 2014. In this interview, Wheeler discusses the untold story of the Western Theater which is the focus of this documentary and how he approached this creatively to tell a compelling story, complete with reenactors shooting on actual battlefields. The interview even includes some footage from the documentary itself.
